WHERE: The start/finish will be at the Outlet Park, below the dam of the Pomme de Terre Lake, near Hermitage, Missouri. The start/finish venue is located in a Corp of Engineers park, which has picnic tables, shade trees, and a play area equipment.

WHEN: September 21, 2019. The event will start at 7 am sharp. Be sure to read the Rules page for a list of mandatory equipment and safety guidelines for all riders.
WHAT: The Pomme de Toure is 2 challenging gravel events. There’s a 108 mile race (The Big Gravel), and 65 mile shorter challenge (The Half Gravel),  all loop around Hickory County. All distances start together with a roll out at the dam of Lake Pomme de Terre. The Big Gravel has most challenging epic terrain, with the most amazing scenery, and 7,500+ feet of elevation. The Big Gravel will go take you outside of the villages of Preston, Cross Timbers, and Wheatland. There will be 3 check points for the The Big Gravel at mile 22, mile 47 mile and mile 65.
The Half Gravel is some of the same challenging and scenic roads with 5,400 feet of elevation. There will be 2 check points for the The Half Gravel at mile 22, and mile 47.

The categories for The Big Gravel 108 mile race are;
Men 39 and Under, Men 40 and Over
Women 39 and Under, Woman 40 and Over
$400 total cash payout for the top Men and Women completing The Big Gravel only!!!
$200 1st Male and $200 1st Female.

The Half Gravel 65 mile categories are as follows:
Men 39 and Under, Men 40 and Over
Women 39 and Under, Woman 40 and Over
The top overall awards.
No cash awards for The Half Gravel!!!

AID and CHECKPOINTS:  We are working on finalizing the maps with the Aid Stations/ Checkpoints locations. There will be basic items at the checkpoints such as water and limited food. Plan ahead on bringing what you need. We will offer a drop bag service for each checkpoint. No coolers please.
